Refund Policy
On this page
This page provides a concise summary of Lernavio's cancellation and refund rules. The full Refund Policy accepted by the User on the Platform applies together with the terms of the specific order and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
What this Policy covers
The Policy applies to paid Lernavio subscriptions, individual and group lessons, lesson packages, courses, educational programmes and digital learning materials.
Where payment is processed through Lernavio's payment infrastructure, refunds are handled under the Platform's rules.
Where a Student pays a Tutor directly, the Tutor is the seller and is responsible for the refund. Lernavio may provide technical assistance but cannot refund money it did not receive.
Subscriptions
A refund may be available in cases such as: an incorrect or duplicate charge; a charge made after auto-renewal was properly cancelled; paid access not being activated due to Lernavio; prolonged unavailability of essential paid functionality; and cases where a refund is required by law.
Cancelling auto-renewal prevents future charges but does not automatically create a right to a refund for an already paid subscription period.
Individual lessons
Unless different conditions were displayed before payment, a Student may cancel or reschedule a lesson without losing payment at least 24 hours before the lesson begins.
A late cancellation or no-show may result in the lesson being treated as used.
Where a lesson cannot be delivered because of the Tutor or a confirmed Lernavio technical failure, rescheduling, restoration of the lesson balance or a refund may be offered.
Lesson packages
Each new lesson package is valid for 180 calendar days from activation.
Each package has its own activation date, expiry date and remaining lesson balance.
Where several packages are available, the package expiring first is used first.
A lesson cannot be booked using a package if the lesson date falls after that package's expiry date.
After 180 days, unused lessons expire and are not refundable, except where mandatory law requires otherwise or the Student had no genuine opportunity to use the package because of the Seller.
Lernavio sends reminders approximately 30, 20 and 10 days before package expiry.
Packages purchased before the 180-day rule was introduced remain without an expiry date where no expiry date had previously been assigned.
Before expiry, a User may request a refund for an unused or partially used package. Any refund is calculated taking into account lessons already used, the terms of the order and any package discount.
Courses and digital content
A full refund may be requested before a live course begins unless different conditions were clearly displayed before payment.
After a course begins, any refund takes into account lessons already delivered, modules opened and materials already supplied.
For digital courses providing immediate access, opening or materially using the content may limit voluntary refunds, except in cases such as failure to provide access, a material technical problem, an incorrect charge or where required by law.
How to request a refund
For payments processed through Lernavio, contact:
Please include your account email, order number, payment date and amount, the relevant service and the reason for your request.
A complete request is normally reviewed within 10 business days. Once approved, Lernavio normally initiates the refund within 5 business days. The final crediting time depends on the payment provider and your bank.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this Policy limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
